Last night I went to my first gig of 2012, a 'Featured Artist' set at Newbold Comyn Arms' open mic/jam night which runs every Wednesday evening. As the aforementioned Featured Artist happened to be my younger sister, it is safe to say that there is no way I could write up this gig without, well, unabashedly gushing.
